Accompanist

Sharon Congregational Church is seeking a pianist who is seeking opportunities to play.

We have a group of singers and musicians who lead singing during our weekly worship service. We sing 4 or 5 songs, plus prelude, postlude and offertory.

Music is selected early in the week, so sight reading is not absolutely necessary, but it would be a plus. We have an Estonia Grand Piano and a Tracker Organ. We are looking primarily for a pianist.

The time commitment would be rehearsal each Thursday following our Bible Study, 7:30 to 8:15 pm and Sundays from 9:30 to noon. Personal preparation would be expected.

We offer $600 per month for the regular Sunday schedule. Our Christmas Eve service would be additional. There will also be several other opportunities to accompany special services, you would have first selection and they would pay independently.
