Accompanist

Pianist Opportunity
Sharon Congregational Church is seeking a pianist who would welcome a regular opportunity to share their musical gifts.

Worship Responsibilities
Our singers and musicians lead the congregation in worship each week. The service typically includes four or five songs, along with a prelude, offertory, and postlude.

Qualifications and Instruments
Music is chosen early in the week, so strong sight-reading ability is helpful but not required. The church has an Estonia grand piano and a tracker organ; however, we are primarily seeking a pianist.

Schedule
The regular commitment includes:
• Thursday rehearsal following Bible study, from 7:30 to 8:15 p.m.
• Sunday service responsibilities, from 9:30 a.m. to noon
Personal preparation is also expected.

Compensation and Additional Services
Compensation is $600 per month for the regular Sunday schedule. The Christmas Eve service is paid separately. Additional paid opportunities may also be available for special services, with the pianist receiving first consideration.
